As an Apache Software Foundation insider (member, committer on Apache Commons), I will share a unique perspective on security vulnerabilities, particularly with regards to the recent log4j issues. We’ll then go over how to get involved with open source projects (ASF ones particularly). Help is drastically needed – by both people and robots – in the world of open source software if we are to continue making progress in the defense of our computer systems.
