I am dedicated to transforming how businesses deliver software. I educate companies on delivering secure software changes at scale, deploying to production with speed and compliance, and aceing audits without slowing software releases.
My journey in the tech world began with the discovery of Notepad, and since then, I have been driving a tech-fueled world. I am passionate about teaching organizations to create inclusive environments that allow anyone to develop software. I pride myself on building Shadow IT organizations, believing that a healthy Shadow-IT presence drives real Business-IT alignment.
I am also the co-author of the automated governance book for IT Revolution. It tells the socio-technical story of bringing security, compliance, and audit into the software delivery lifecycle. I frequently speak at tech events, sharing my insights on policy as code, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) and how to build systems that reflect the GRC domain.
In my spare time, I enjoy building technology solutions for Aquaculture (ocean farming), learning about the history of programming languages, brewing beer, aviation, and writing open-source software.
Let's connect if you're interested in learning more about how to transform your software delivery process or if you want to discuss inclusive software development and automated governance.
* My Mantra *
Software, people, engineering teams, technology organizations, or companies; I build things that build things.
