Description

As AppSec continues to evolve, new terms and acronyms hit the market. It’s easy to get lost in the alphabet soup of technologies, frameworks, and processes. For example, Application Security Orchestration and Correlation (ASOC) is often confused with Application Security Posture Management (ASPM)

In this panel session, the panelists come together to detangle these terms and help new security practitioners understand what they need to enhance their organizational security program. Do they need an ASOC at this stage? Or do they need to build an ASPM program first?

In this panel session, you will learn:

  • To identify the right use cases and the pains that each acronym solves
  • To differentiate between each of these terms and pick the right one
  • The pros and cons of each approach
