Techstrong Group is committed to making participation in the event a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of level of experience, education, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion or nationality.

 

ArgoCon is a virtual event where ideas and experiences from a wide range of perspectives and viewpoints are shared to give all attendees the insights they need to build and deliver great software.

        Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery
  • Personal attacks Intimidating or insulting/derogatory comments
  • Public or private harassment Inappropriate physical contact
  • Harassing photography or recording
  • Stalking Sustained disruption of talks or other events
  • Publishing other’s private information, such as physical or electronic addresses, without explicit permission
  • Other unethical or unprofessional conduct

        Participants asked to stop any unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately.

        Techstrong Group, as the conference organizer, reserves the right to refuse admittance to or remove any person from any MediaOps-hosted event at any time in its sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, attendees behaving in a disorderly manner or failing to comply with this policy, and the terms and conditions herein. If a participant engages in harassing or uncomfortable behavior, the conference organizer may take any action it deems appropriate, including warning or expelling the offender from the conference with no refund. Please note, while we take all concerns raised seriously, we will use our discretion as to determining when and how to follow up on reported incidents, and may decline to take any further action and/or may direct the participant to other resources for resolution.

        By adopting this Code of Conduct, Techstrong Group commits itself to fairly and consistently applying these principles to every aspect of managing this event.

        Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting events-code-of-conduct@mediaops.com. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. The Event Team will be happy to help participants or otherwise assist those experiencing discomfort or harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.
