Enterprise migration to the cloud and cloud-native architecture is a complex, massive undertaking for any organization. While IT and business unit-specific applications forge ahead with cloud-native implementations, the siloed nature of a typical enterprise can throw up roadblocks to a smooth and successful transition. This panel brings together the perspectives of a cloud center of excellence, platform engineering, DevOps, software engineering and cybersecurity to discuss how enterprises can meet these challenges. We discuss the base security and management elements necessary to build and scale across multiple applications and how concepts like landing zones and cloud formation patterns help organizations implement the necessary substrate layer for successful enterprise cloud migrations.
