Kirsten Davies is a globally recognized subject matter expert and award-winning leader in technology and cyber risk management, critical infrastructure security, enterprise operational transformations, AI Governance and Assurance, and digital innovation and transformation. Across her career she has been a fervent advocate for public-private partnerships and the ethical use of cybersecurity and technology to support individuals’ rights. Kirsten has lived and worked on 4 continents, serving 5 Global 200/Fortune 500 organizations. Her robust experience includes serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Unilever, Global CISO for The Estee Lauder Companies, Managing Directory and Corporate Security Officer (CSO) for Barclays Africa Group (now ABSA), and as global Deputy CISO for both Hewlett Packard Enterprises and Siemens. Previous roles found her in leadership positions at Booz Allen Hamilton and Deloitte Australia. Kirsten’s academic background includes International Politics & Government (B.A.) and M.A. courses in International Law, Business, and Human rights (Johns Hopkins University, and the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France). As a passionate advocate for many non-profits and women’s initiatives around the world, Kirsten is an active supporter of the A21 Campaign to end Human Trafficking, NURU International to build local business opportunities for the peoples of Africa, Women in Technology, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. She is also a collector of fine wines and rescue dogs.
