An accomplished and highly connected technology, strategy, and innovation leader with a strong background combining startup technology competency with Big 4 business know-how, serving as a business accelerator for global organizations in the cyber security industry.
Gadi held leading roles with some of the world’s largest companies, with international experience in industry, government, academia, and NGOs. Most recently, he was CEO and Founder of Cymmetria, a cyber deception company (acquired), prior to which he led PwC's Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, based in Tel Aviv, and was CISO with the Israeli Government.
He founded and chairs global professional working groups in Internet security, strategy, and innovation, and is currently the chair of the World Economic Forum's RISCC Council on cyber security risks, the chairman of the board for the Israeli CERT, and the chair of the Art into Science conference.
With process- as well as results-oriented experience (both start-up and Big 4), Gadi’s background is both deeply technical on the one hand, and business-oriented on the other. He also has a wide global network of contacts, and a strong feel for strategic communication and media.
In his free time, he coordinates global incident response and threat intelligence collaboration, such as the First Internet War in Estonia in 2007, teaches Swing dance, and dabbles in writing science fiction and fantasy.
Gadi has written two books on cyber security, is a frequent contributor in industry publications, and speaker at industry events, from Blackhat to Davos.
