Shivani Agarwal is the VP of Technology at LPL Financial leading Application development and Product teams in building the Perfect Practice for the Advisors so they can take care of their clients. Among other responsibilities, Shivani oversees the implementation of the corporate governance and compliance for Financial Books & Records to ensure LPL is FINRA compliant.
Before her tenure at LPL Financial, she spearheaded the DevOps movement as Managing Director at Schwab. Prior to that Shivani was the CIO of XO Group (now TKWW – The Knot WorldWide) responsible for all of corporate technology systems like Sales, CRM, HR, & Finance driving the company’s growth and efficiency. She was also responsible for managing all aspects of IT Infrastructure (data center, network, Cloud), Security, and Operations. She modernized the entire ecosystem to best of breed SaaS products and Cloud native development. Shivani has led multi-tiered global technology organizations at companies like PayPal and Dell.

An advocate of supporting the community, Shivani was the founding board member of Pratham’s Austin chapter and has also served on the board for African Leadership Bridge.
Shivani lives in Austin with her husband as they enjoy this “empty-nester” phase of their life.
