The scope and scale of technology solutions continues to evolve and increase with the ever critical need for more robust interactions and expansive data needs. Yet, in a world where data is becoming a critical business strategy, how do we improve and continue to drive user adoption of large scale platforms, including EMRs and ERPs, many of which are arguably failing in this critical area? Are we beginning to forget one of technology's most important assets, the user? In this presentation we will explorer why user experience became an important driver of technology solutions in our past, how that experience is changing and evolving with more and more innovations, and why this is becoming a very real problem for large scale solutions. Through the lens of real world solutions, we'll discuss where we are failing and some of the possible solutions which could help restore the criticality of the user's experience.
