Brad Smith has served as Paycom’s chief information officer since April 2018. He has been with Paycom since 2005 and has held roles as director of software development and the director of information technology.

Under his leadership, Paycom’s technology has grown exponentially, and Smith has been instrumental in implementing scalable solutions and leading teams in developing new cloud solutions. Smith has also helped lead the development of some of Paycom’s award-winning products, including Beti™, Manager on-the-Go® and Direct Data Exchange®.

Before joining Paycom, he served as a senior technical consultant at BearingPoint and the manager of software development and business intelligence at Fleming Companies, Inc.

Smith earned his bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Oklahoma State University and has more than 30 years of information technology and software development experience. He is a member of several Oklahoma State University advisory boards, including OSU Management Information Systems Advisory Board, OSU Corporate Analytics Advisory Board and OSU Computer Science Industry Advisory Board.
