Carrie Martin Vance is the Director of Technical Training for the Americas at Microsoft. With 25 years of Microsoft Experience, and accountability for $2.3Billion in consumed revenue, Carrie has worked with Microsoft’s largest and most strategic customers. Carrie worked in Europe, Middle East & Africa region for 9 years in various leadership roles before returning to the US in 2011. A regular speaker for internal conferences and public forums, she is also a LinkedIn contributor, and recognized as an influencer who educates and evangelizes cloud consumption solutions, Project Management Center of Excellence, and Organizational Change Management. She prides herself on being the Swiss army knife of leadership experiences, her organizations have enabled Cloud Transformation through solution Architecture, Consulting, Operations and Enablement globally.
An avid learner, Carrie holds industry certification and accreditations in Adult Learning, PROCI and Human Performance Improvement (organizational change management certifications) and the Project Management Institute’s PMP certification.
Living 9 years in Europe and traveling extensively with Microsoft, Carrie has a deep passion for history, the culinary arts, and riding motorcycles. Active in multiple mental health organizations such as Movember, 22Kill, and the Hope Coalition, Carrie writes grant applications for funding, and participates in community volunteer and support activities on a regular basis. One of her proudest accomplishments was during her sabbatical in 2014, she rode her Harley-Davidson Motorcycle across all 50 U.S. states in 50 days.
