Professional Background: Asna is IBM Hybrid Cloud Build Team and Developer Advocacy Leader, Pakistan. She mainly focuses on Cloud Native development, AI, Application security and DevSecOps. As a Developer advocate, she works with local developer communities, universities, and Incubation centers. She also works with client developers and enable them on IBM Cloud. She contributes towards open-source projects using different cloud services and assist startups in development of their product on IBM Cloud.
Awards & Recognition: Asna was awarded fully funded TechWomen Scholarship in 2019. She did her fellowship with LinkedIn HQ in California, USA for a month. During this duration she was representing Pakistan and her team also won Seed Grant to address child sexual abuse, a social problem in Pakistan. She is also a co-founder of Bachaoo, an NPO targeting awareness on child sexual abuse.
