The contemporary mainframe application developer has to be a master of combining the old with the new. Thanks to Zowe, it is now easier than ever to integrate modern, industry-standard developer tools into the automated build process of mainframe software.  In this presentation, I will reveal, step-by-step, the automated process my development team uses to package a Java based application from a GitHub repository into a PTF.  I will explain how our automated process leverages Zowe, Jenkins, Endevor, MSPS, GitHub, and Python scripting to make the arduous process of creating a PTF quick and easy.
