Join this session to listen to and interact with James Bawtree FAIPM CPPD FAPM ChPP talk about the new PRINCE2 7 method. James has been using PRINCE2 since the late 1990’s, in 2001 he and team won the best PRINCE2 rollout for the organization he was working for at the time, and became a PRINCE2 Approved Trainer in 2004. James is a named contributor to many of the PeopleCert methods and frameworks including PRINCE2 7 over the last 20 years and has co-authoring his own book The Strategy Implementation Gap. In this session James will talk about PRINCE2, which was first launched in 1996, and has had six editions, version 6 being in 2017. This PRINCE2® 7 launched here in Sydney in November 2023, seeks to respond to several changes that have taken place in our world and in the discipline of project management since then including:

• Move from principle focused to people centric because people are central to successful projects.
• An addition of a seventh project performance area ‘sustainability’ to reflect modern organisational needs.
• Inclusion of digital and data approach to meet the evolving needs of project management professionals.
