Marc works for IBM in Southern California and is currently the senior technical staff member for IBM Software SaaS - SRE. In 2023, Marc was awarded the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Star Award – Innovator for his breakthroughs and leadership in innovation. Marc also teaches courses part-time at California State University, Fullerton and Chapman University. Marc has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering industry with a focus on server development, cloud development, system integration, DevOps, containerization and cloud orchestration, SRE, system verification and testing. Marc has a Bachelor's and Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from California State University, Fullerton. Marc is an IEEE Senior Member, the Secretary for OC ACM, and chair of IBM’s Southern California Hispanic Resource Group. Marc resides in the city of Orange with his wife and three children.
