Levin serves on the Board of Directors of ReversingLabs, FiVerity, and SmartOne and as a Board Advisor of Resec and Dowsers a seasoned expert in AI, cybersecurity and digital fraud detection. He is an Executive Fellow and teaches entrepreneurship at the Harvard Business School. Levin was the sole founder and first CEO of Black Duck Software, a pioneer in open source security and compliance issues (acquired by Synopsys in 2017). Levin also held senior positions at Microsoft over a nine year period, worked on the original Apple Macintosh development team. Today he authors the "Lessons from a Startup Life" blog on Substack.
