Craig Orr leads the IFS Strategic Marketing and Platforms, focusing on defining where we compete, the platforms/roadmaps we need to win, market intelligence (TAM/SAM/SOM, competitive analysis) and driving marketing communications in partnership with SMG.

Prior to joining Intel in 2021, Craig worked for Samsung Semiconductor for 11 years as the Head of Marketing and Product Planning for the U.S. foundry business. He helped drive the expansion beyond mobile customers and triple the revenue in the U.S. Before that, Craig was Head of Strategy for the Americas semiconductor businesses (Memory, System LSI, Display, and Foundry). Before coming to the U.S. Craig held multiple product planning, corporate development, and strategic planning positions in Samsung Semiconductor’s Korean headquarters, and also served as Chief of Staff to the President.

Craig’s biggest career achievements including growing 3 business from zero to multi-billion dollar run rates, playing a critical role in doubling Samsung’s memory revenue, and completing more than 50 corporate development deals spanning investment, M&A, and partnerships.

Craig has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Saginaw Valley State University
