Jeremy Barnes is Vice President of Product, Platform AI, at ServiceNow. He was previously CTO and Chief Architect at Element AI (acquired by ServiceNow), where he worked on bringing AI research to the customer and built out the largest GPU infrastructure at a Canadian company. Before that he was co-founder, CTO and CEO at Datacratic (acquired by iPerceptions), an open platform for real-time personalization, and mldb.ai (acquired by Element AI), an open SQL database for machine learning. He began his career in AI in 2000 as co-founder and CTO at Idilia, a natural language processing company. His passion is to project the value of AI research out of universities into an industrial setting, and he has been fortunate to have played a role in the creation of the AI ecosystem in Canada and witnessed the beginnings of the deep learning revolution.
