Heidi Cox was selected in March 2018 to serve as the chief information officer for HKS. In this position, she oversees an information technology portfolio of over $10 million in services globally. Throughout 2018, HKS shifted their strategic focus to be more technology-driven and innovative. Heidi’s 20+ years’ experience in technology within the AEC industry has been instrumental in helping to drive technology advancements not only in infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, security and support, but is shaping innovation in data-driven programs and process improvements with new modern scalable software development.Prior to her selection as CIO, Heidi has held several senior leadership roles with the AEC industry. She participated in large scale ERP implementations, oversaw globally dispersed data teams and led multiple full-scale development programs. She successfully implemented automation processes that returned millions in annual spend. Heidi also served on the change advisory board for a large Fortune 500 engineering firm. Heidi received her M.B.A from the University of Texas at Arlington, completed certifications in Agile development leading to both a Scrum master and product owner certification. Heidi is also certified as an ITIL practitioner in change and release management. Heidi serves on the governing body of the Gartner Dallas CIO Summit and is an executive host for the Dallas Technology Ball which gives back to the local community through technology-related charities and social causes.
