Hart Brown is a widely known expert in the governance of risk and resilience with over 20 years of experience working with both public entities and private organizations across 50 countries.
Mr. Brown regularly responds to organizations involved in the governance of risks as a Qualified Risk Director (QRD) and managing cyber incidents and crisis events. Because of that, Hart works closely with insurance programs in commercial, personal, benefits and specialties markets. In previous roles he has developed cyber risk programs for private equity portfolios, established unique cyber governance plans for organizations of all sizes and complexities to include Fortune 20 organizations, executives, and Heads of State.
As a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), he has conducted hundreds of incident responses, investigations, threat assessments, and managed direct threats, extortions, blackmail, ransomware, data breaches, developed response plans, in addition to conducting live hacking demonstrations.
Mr. Brown graduated from Texas A&M University, where he received a degree in Radiological Health Engineering and a graduate degree in Safety Engineering.
He has given multiple national and international lectures and presentations and has authored or is referenced in over 90 publications. He is known to appear in Reuters, USA Today, Wired, Risk & Insurance, Risk Management, CIO Review and many others.
