Before joining the team he worked as a Sales Engineer for SUSE working as an OpenStack specialist, giving him a fantastic appreciation of building, managing and consuming cloud services. A true evangelist, Simon takes any opportunity to extol the value of Open Source.
Rhys Powell is a Senior Black Belt in Managed Cloud Solutions at Red Hat, following years of experience in both consultancy and client-side positions, across DevOps and Cloud. In his current role he works with businesses to help them understand ways of working with platforms in the cloud and across hybrid environments, showing business benefits and value at all levels of the organisation and helping strengthen technical ability and release technical blockers from teams.
Fabio Alessandro Locati - commonly known as Fale - is a Principal Specialist Solution Architect at Red Hat, public speaker, author, and Open Source contributor. His primary areas of expertise are Linux, automation, security, and cloud technologies. Fale has more than 20 years of working experience in IT, with many of them spent consulting for many companies, including dozens of Fortune 500 companies. He is the author of the books Practical Ansible 2, Learning Ansible 2, Learning Ansible 2.7, and OpenStack Cloud Security. In the spare time he helps in the Kubernetes, Fedora Project, Ansible, Wikimedia, Open Street Map communities as well as in many smaller projects on GitHub and similar platforms.
With nearly two decades in Enterprise IT across the UK and EMEA, Oliver has built a comprehensive background in end-user sales, partner management, and business development spanning hardware, software, and cloud solutions. His expertise is particularly strong in IBM and Red Hat software, complemented by strategic secondments at technology partner, Logicalis and leading IT distributor, Arrow, which have further enriched his understanding of integrated ecosystem motivations, all geared towards ensuring ultimate customer success.
In his current role as EMEA Cloud Marketplace Sales Leader at Red Hat, Oliver leverages this extensive experience to bring together customers, partners, and sales teams, fostering mutual growth and acting as a trusted advisor to drive innovation within the dynamic cloud marketplace landscape.
